Carrabelle Harbor Riverwalk

In recent years, Marine Street along the harbor has been beautifully renovated. Walk a half mile, past slips with sailboats, shrimp boats, sport fishers and the occasional pelican. The best walk route in town starts at the Hotel and follows the harbor and the Gulf of Mexico. 5k total.

Sail Reflections

Slipped sailboats on Timber Island, across from downtown Carrabelle.

The Hotel Monkey Bar

Kathy and Skip (in back) with Sunny Jim (of Parrothead fame) and Adela relax after the Carrabelle Riverfront Festival performance. The Monkey Bar is always available to you during your stay. You may make use of the bar, glassware, chess/checkers game table and the TV.

Habitat for Humanity Fund-Raising Prize

The Old Carrabelle Hotel supports Habitat for Humanity's new Franklin County branch. Since 2004 we have donated Hotel stays to the Mardi Gras silent auction which helps finance local affordable housing.

Busy Boat Ramps

Carrabelle’s 2 spacious city ramps and free parking enable visitors and locals to get on the water without any trouble.

The Hotel Courtyard

The Key West courtyard provides an ample outdoor area for relaxing. Tables in sun or shade, wet bar and gas grill are available.

Carrabelle at Dawn

There is no prettier harbor, any time of day. We are the first Intracoastal Waterway deep harbor between Tarpon Springs and Panama City!

Winchester Cottage

Our vacation rental cottage nestles under 2 magnificent old oaks. Totally modernized and comfortable, it’s right up the street from the Hotel.

This aerial from the northeast sees the Carrabelle River coming from Tate’s Hell State Forest at top right, and reaching the Gulf at center left. On the top left horizon is St. George Island, looking across to the white sand strip of Carrabelle Beach. Inland from the beach is the Carrabelle airport. Foreground is downtown Carrabelle (all of it), and The Old Carrabelle Hotel is the building closest to the bottom right corner.
